Christina Ruggiero, Registered Psychotherapist
Therapy should be as unique as the person sitting in front of me. With curiosity, compassion, and empathy I get to know your story, tailoring my approach to meet your specific needs and goals using a culturally sensitive and trauma informed lens. Building trust together is at the heart of our work, and I will be there as a motivator, encourager, and strong advocate as you navigate life’s challenges and pursue meaningful change.
I believe improved mental health comes from understanding our issues and where they stem from, moving from impulsive and sometimes harmful or hurtful reactions to pausing and allowing for conscious choice of how we want to respond, and learning strategies to relate to our emotions and thoughts with more awareness and balance.
I have extensive experience working with an undergraduate and graduate student population, and I am especially passionate about supporting individual clients through their relationship challenges – whether with their partner, family, friends, or colleagues – as well as helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, self-worth, perfectionism, and sleep difficulties.
If you’re curious about working together, I invite you to book a free consultation.
