We offer virtual physiotherapy for both regular physiotherapy and also pelvic physiotherapy.
Have you heard about Virtual Physiotherapy?
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has forced the closure of numerous health-care facilities, we as medical professionals are working hard to serve our clients while minimizing the spread of this disease.
Virtual Physiotherapy has emerged as a fantastic way for clients to continue receiving medical care in the comfort of their own homes. We can keep both our clients and PT providers safe and healthy by providing care virtually rather than in person.
What is Virtual Physiotherapy?
In your Initial this Physiotherapy session you will be able to share your story, health history, previous injuries, current symptoms or concerns, goals and expectations. This is the time to dive deep into discussion and determine the root cause of your symptoms to develop a treatment plan that is suited for you!
The discussion will take up the majority of the first session as it is essential in gauging the full picture of you, your story, and your symptoms. We will then move into an objective assessment where we will look at your posture, active range of motion, strength testing, functional movement, and have you report how different parts of your body feel. To conclude the session we will review some key findings, review a home exercise program designed specific to you, revisit your goals and work out a treatment plan based on your needs and your daily schedule.
*We will then decide if your future sessions should be in person or virtual.
This is a method for medical providers, such as physicians and physiotherapists, to ensure that our clients continue to receive the highest possible quality of care from a remote location, such as their home.
Virtual Physiotherapy services can be accessed using your smartphone or computer, and you will be able to complete your physiotherapy treatments from the comfort of your own home. You’ll also be able to track your progress and see how you’re progressing as your treatment goes on.
At any point, you can also message one of our physiotherapists to ask questions or get advice about your condition.
