I have always been fascinated by the human body and how we function. Coupling that with a desire to help others is what made massage therapy a natural career choice for me. I graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Centennial College in 2000. After all these years of practice, I am still passionate about what I do.
Back when I was studying kinesiology I had a friend complaining of headaches during our midterm exams. After a neck massage, their pain was gone and they joked that I should make this my career. It was shortly after this that I left mid-program to set myself on the path to massage therapy.
My massage treatments incorporate Swedish massage with deep tissue techniques and trigger point therapy. I have done additional training in myofascial release, hot stone massage, reflexology, as well as pre and post-natal massage. I am also certified in lymphatic drainage.
Lifelong learning is vital to creating safe and effective treatments, and being able to share that knowledge with my clients is part of the care I love to provide.
