Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) may help reduce swelling and inflammation in your body
Manual Lymph Drainage is a slow and gentle manual technique that is used to drain excess fluid from the body and improve the overall functioning of the lymphatic and immune systems. The gentle pressure is combined with rhythmic circular motions to reduce swelling and encourage the body’s natural healing process.
Note: This is not for body contouring. Please book Brazilian Lymphatic drainage treatment instead.

More Info on Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
This treatment incorporates gentle lymphatic massage with other therapeutic body techniques that facilitate and promote lymphatic flow, blood flow, and relaxation.
Lymphatic Massage is used to reduce swelling and inflammation, increase circulation, and flush out harmful toxins in the body. Aromatherapy essential oils can be added to improve mood disorders, enhance the quality of sleep, heal skin disorders, reduce fluid retention, and boost the immune system.
The massage is applied gently in the direction of lymph flow in order to unblock any obstructed lymph vessels, and allow lymph flow to transport waste from the body freely.
MLD at FHS is performed by our Registered Massage Therapists at For Health’s Sake in Downtown (Queen St West), Leslieville (Queen St East) and Kingsway (Etobicoke). Each Practitioner offers something uniquely different, which is why you may see price differences.
