Psychotherapy (Virtual and/or In-Clinic) | (50 minutes) $160-$180 (depending on Therapist)
Therapy offers an opportunity to work through thoughts, emotions, and behaviours to reframe negative thoughts and change behaviours that are holding you back.
No two people are exactly the same so an effective treatment will be tailored to fit your needs and personality!
Couples Therapy/Relationship Therapy | (50 minutes) $230-$250 (depending on Therapist)
Couples/Relationship Therapy is a type of psychotherapy in which a therapist with clinical experience working with couples, helps two people involved in a romantic relationship gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict, and improve relationship satisfaction utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions.
Although the practice of couples therapy may vary depending on the therapist’s theoretical orientation, all couples therapy tends to involve the following general elements;
- a focus on a specific problem (i.e. sexual difficulties, internet addiction, jealousy, etc.)
- active participation on the part of the therapist in treating the relationship itself rather than each individual separately
- solution-focused change-oriented interventions early on in treatment
- clear establishment of treatment objectives
Family Therapy (up to 4 family members) | (90 minutes) $270- $300 (price varies depending on Therapist)
Family therapy is suitable for families who are experiencing conflict or concerns in which all members are ready to tackle in a therapeutic space.
This service helps families by exploring different psychological frame-works and interventions to ultimately aid the family towards better communication, and increased conflict resolution skills.
Family therapy may look like all of your family members, or just those willing and able to participate.
Virtually this looks like everyone together or each family member logging on from their desired location.
Each family’s treatment plan will differ depending on your family’s unique situation, however, the goal still remains: to deepen family connection, trust, and also the family’s resiliency to present and future obstacles.
*+$60 for every additional family member

Modalities
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT is an action-oriented approach to psychotherapy that stems from Traditional Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
In ACT, clients are encouraged to stop avoiding, denying, and struggling with their emotions and learn to accept such feelings as adaptive responses to situations. Such acceptance and giving up the fight against the emotions allows them to move forward in their life. Such acceptance along with evaluation and understanding of one’s values leads to commitment to making necessary changes in their behaviour.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a goal-oriented, problem-focused, and structured approach to treating many psychological issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, relationship conflict, and psychosis. It is based on the idea that the way in which a person interprets events, situations, and people influences their subsequent mood and behaviour.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
DBT is an evidence-based psychotherapy that began with efforts to treat Borderline Personality Disorder. Borderline Personality Disorder is a disorder where a person struggles with an unstable sense of identity, instability in relationships, and difficulty regulating emotions. Borderline Personality Disorder is challenging to treat because the characteristic emotional volatility and instability in a person’s sense of self and their relationships makes it hard to remain engaged in treatment unless a clinician is skilled in understanding the diagnosis and how to treat it. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is widely used and scientifically proven to be a successful treatment program for people with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT is an evidence-based treatment approach based on the idea that how we understand and use our emotions guides how we live. Some people develop unhealthy patterns of emotions that contribute to poor psychological and emotional well-being.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness refers to meditative ideas and practices that involve observing thoughts and feelings and letting go of the need to change or ruminate about things. Mindfulness-Based Therapies encompass mindfulness philosophies and techniques in their intervention approach.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing is a counselling method that helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation they need to change their behaviour. It is a practical, empathetic, and short-term process that takes into consideration how difficult it is to make life changes.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Unlike traditional forms of therapy that take time to analyze problems, pathology, and past life events, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) concentrates on finding solutions in the present time and exploring one’s hope for the future to find quicker resolution of one’s problems. This method takes the approach that you know what you need to do to improve your own life and, with the appropriate coaching and questioning, are capable of finding the most effective solutions.
